MARCH 2008

March was a pretty busy month for us. Our granddaughter, Riana, was baptized. It was a very nice occasion and a special one for her. Angela and Grant invited the family over to their house for a nice luncheon afterward. Mark, Elizabeth and kids came over for a visit. Liz and the kids stayed for a couple of weeks. During that time, Angela and her girls stayed with us for a week too while Grant was gone on a business trip. Also, while Liz was here Joe got pneumonia and missed a week of school. I should have kept him home for another week because he was so exhausted. The Saturday before Liz and Mark went home we had a birthday party for their little girl, Rachel, and also an Easter Egg Hunt. Chris, Angela and Elizabeth's families were all there. Our grand-nephew, Tristan was also there. Danny brought his girlfriend, Jolie, too. Because of a miscommunication Celestia thought it was another day so we missed having her family with us. As you can see in the photos we had a visit from the Easter Bunny, a very cute one (aka Chris and Mandy's daughter Laurel.) We usually have our Easter Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Easter so we can have a more spiritual day on Easter Sunday.
