90th Birthday Party

May 28, 2011
Mike, Tom and I traveled to Eastern Washington for Grandma Monson's 90th birthday party with Chris, Mandy and their children. On the way we stopped at the National Cemetery where Mandy's grandfather is buried. It was quite an awesome sight with its perfect rows of grave markers.  There were small U.S. flags at each grave and bigger ones lined the roads. A lot of people were there for a Memorial Day parade including some motorcycle policemen and other motorcycle groups.

My mom and me at the birthday party.  We had a potluck dinner, birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to Mom.  Lots of Mom's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were there.
