June started out rainy and cold and continued that way during most of the month. However, the clouds broke up and the sun smiled down on us for a couple of days, just enough time for Dan and Jolie's wedding and reception. As you can see in the pictures, we enjoyed a nice sunny day at the Seattle Temple the day they got married. It was a wonderful experience to witness, in the temple, the beginning of a new family unit. The beautiful weather continued the following day for the reception which was held in the Rose Garden at Priest Point Park in Olympia. A friend told me that the next time she was in need of some special blessing she would have to call on Dan and Jolie to help her pray since they surely had gotten some heavenly help in getting a window of good weather for their wedding. :) (For more pictures from the wedding and reception scroll down on this blog.)

Apparently they must have a lot of faith to have a sunny shiny day in Western Washington eh? Although I'd personally like to think that there is some sunshine there during at least the summertime! :)
It was a beautiful day! The reception was lovely. The location was perfect!
